http://www.arrmet.it/ Arrmet srl has been working in the furniture industry since 1960, when quality in furniture meant one thing in a world with values still dominated by the rural village - it had to be durable and it had to made of wood.
Aiming to become a large company providing quality with practical usability, Arrmet launched itself in the national market making products based on tubular steel. The material was already familiar at the time, but it had been little used in interior design and furnishing.
Arrmet's design ethos was aimed at developing products which could be produced at an industrial level. In these early years they specialized in school desks and refectory tables, indispensable items forming part of everyday life; and won contracts to supply the naval construction industry, where metal was becoming accepted as a modern product.
