http://www.alliedworks.com/The critical reputation of Allied Works was established with the Maryhill Overlook Interpretive Site located on the banks of the Columbia River and the Wieden+Kennedy Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Since then Allied Works has been involved in a diverse mix of projects which includes museums, residential work, a performing and visual arts school and a waterfront park. Among its significant museum commissions are The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, the Seattle Art Museum, the University of Michigan Museum of Art, and the redesign of 2 Columbus Circle for the Museum of Arts and Design. Residential work spans a 50-story luxury tower in lower Manhattan, a loft residence in Tribeca, New York, the critically acclaimed Sun Valley Residence, in Sun Valley, Idaho, and a residence located on 350 acres in Dutchess County, New York. Designed for art collectors with an extensive contemporary art collection, the residence will include an art barn, main house, guesthouse and artists’ studios. In Dallas, Texas, Allied Works is designing the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts which will be located in the Dallas Arts District alongside other important architectural buildings. Recently Allied Works, along with landscape architects Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, was selected for the East River Walk, a half-mile long waterfront park adjacent to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
